Paine Lake produced a new social media video series Thai Food at Home with Jet Tila to promote healthy ingredients imported from Thailand, including premium Hom Mali Rice, palm sugar, tamarind, coconut products and more.

Paine Lake founder Robert Philips served with Hilton Guam as its Director of Business Development for the 646-room resort, guiding all sales, marketing and revenue activities. The work included being trained in Hilton’s Revenue Management system and
supervising all distribution channels.
During Philips' tenure, he led a talented team to grow annual revenue from US$29 to US$44 million per year, and annual Net Operating Income to the hotel Owner (PHR Ken Micronesia) by 120%. Clients included the U.S. Navy,
Northrop Grumman, JTB, United Airlines, Korean Air, L'Oreal
and Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron.
A New Brand for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts
Paine Lake founder Robert Philips was Director of Sales & Marketing for Cassia Phuket, the inaugural property of
Banyan Tree's newest brand.
Previously known for elegant, spiritual luxury resorts and spas, Banyan Tree decided to pivot and build their first Cassia, a vivid new hospitality concept for a new generation.
"Be Cool with Cassia" became the new mantra, as the 229-room hotel-apartment opened on the water in Thailand. It has since grown to three towers and more than 500 keys.

The Cassia brand has also grown in Thailand, Indonesia, and
South Korea.
Digital Advertising for

​Paine Lake coordinated digital advertising on Yelp for 40 restaurants.
EastEdge Partners in Japan
As Vice President for Japan-based EastEdge Partners, Paine Lake founder Philips helped the firm earn hotel management contracts in the Philippines and supported the development of a new resort concept named The Ryokan, combining traditional Japanese design with modern comforts.

Paine Lake has launched its Paine Lake Asia Fund, a value-add real estate vehicle that is targeting $500 million to acquire
hospitality assets in Japan and Thailand.
The Paine Lake Asia Fund will acquire hotels, serviced apartments, co-living properties and other furnished lodging in Asia.
