Mr. Edward Lim

Edward Lim is the Paine Lake Asia Fund's VP Accounting, on a consulting basis.

 

Lim has an exceptional resume in hospitality management and finance with Oakwood, Hilton, Westin and Shangri-La. His longest tenure was with Oakwood, where he served more than 20 years as a General Manager in Guangzhou, China; first with Oakwood Gold Arch Residence and later, the luxurious Oakwood Premier Guangzhou. From 2018, he was Oakwood's Director of Operations & Development overseeing 10 properties in China.

 

A Canadian national, Edward holds a Diploma in Hotel, Restaurant & Catering Management from Fanshawe College, London, Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is also a qualified professional accountant, a member in good standing with the Certified General Accountant (CGA) Canada and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Canada.
